ABOUT US
Wonthaggi Dog Obedience Group (WonDOG) was established in 2001 and has come a long way in 20 years. From humble beginnings at the Wonthaggi Primary School, the Club now meets at the off-leash dog area behind the Wonthaggi Recreation Reserve 'Butch West' oval. The grounds are accessed via Strickland Street (off Korumburra Road).
WonDOG offers obedience training for owners and dogs of all levels and welcomes new members. The Club is also fortunate enough to have a great collection of agility equipment for members to use on training days (weather permitting!).
Whilst located in Wonthaggi, our members come from as far away as Leongatha & Korumburra, Phillip Island, Fish Creek & Foster.
New members are welcome to join at any time of the year.
OUR VISION
WonDOG offers obedience training for owners and dogs of all levels.
WHAT WE DO
Our main objective is to assist members to have well-socialised, well-mannered dogs. We use non-forceful methods and positive reinforcement.
OUR COMMUNITY
We are an enthusiastic not-for-profit club, run by a Committee of volunteers. Our trainers are members themselves and also volunteer their services to help people in the community enjoy working with their dogs.
